About the Author


Edgar H. Shroyer is former Professor and Director of the Education of Deaf Children Program at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, NC.

Susan P. Shroyer is a former teacher and administrator at the North Carolina School for the Deaf, Greensboro, and a certified interpreter.
