Nicole is frustrated that the peace she desperately craves is still proving to be elusive. Looking in all the wrong places, and at times partaking in risky behavior, she is willing to try almost anything to obtain the peace she desires. Her search leads her to the unlikely meeting of Jonathan Durrette, a youth pastor, who has a few demons he is battling as well. Evelyn J. Porter is a U. S. Navy veteran. She is blessed to be a wife, a mother of three and having two grandchildren who call her Nana. The Porters' make their home nestled in the woods of Ashland, Virginia.
