Description

South America's largest nation is home to over 1,800 species of birds--over 250 of which are endemics--spread across six major biomes: Amaz nia, Cerrado, Caatinga, Mata Atl ntica, Pantanal, and Pampa. Brazil is as vast as it is diverse, making it a world-class destination for learning about and exploring bird life in its many colors and forms. To help you cut through the clutter and get acquainted with the species you are most likely to see, we have created this portable reference, beautifully illustrated with 140 familiar species. Laminated for durability, this lightweight, 12-panel folding pocket guide is a terrific companion for educators, learners, naturalists, and birders who wish to establish a solid foundation of knowledge about Brazil's most common birds. Made in the USA.
