Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is the name of a relatively new technology, based on the well known laws of physics, that uses radio waves to automatically identify people or objects. For most business organizations, adopting RFID is a matter of when, not choice. Approximately 60,000 organizations are already facing mandates or requirements from customers, suppliers and trading partners to implement RFID. Obviously, businesses need to prepare for the upcoming RFID wave.
