Rob Smith has been a gardener since he was a child, helping his grandfather in the garden. He won BBC2's The Big Allotment Challenge and since then has become a much-loved gardening journalist. Collaborating with multiple horitcultural companies, Rob tirelessly searches the globe and seeks out, tests and introduces new vegetable seeds and plants to home gardeners and commercial growers alike.
