Praise For…

"...a heavyweight examination of almost everything you've always wanted to conjure, from Cabala to werewolves."  –– Christianity Today

"In the proliferation of Christian-oriented books on the occult this is by far the most comprehensive, up-to-date treatment I have run across."–– H. Robert Cowles in The Alliance Witness

"The value of this study is...that it provides a strong historical introduction to the kinds of occult appeals from the past, and then considers a number of areas where there has been a recent upsurge of interest. The discussion is sane, well-documented, with clear conclusions as the where the Christian should recognize conflicts with the teachings of his faith."  –– The Church Herald

"Worth reading. It will provide answers to many of your questions, especially relating to the more unusual occult phenomena." –– James Bjornstad in Moody Monthly

"A brilliant, fascinating and factual analysis of the occult and allied subjects." –– David Otis Fuller

"He has attempted to cover the full range of the occult in as objective a fashion as possible, neither falling victim to the naive fascination of the gullible nor repudiating everything as humbug or demonic."  –– The Paraclete
