INTRODUCTION TO THE INDIAN BANKING SECTOR

The Indian industry is presently experiencing an accelerated change in the

economy, especially with reference to workforce diversity. One major shift in

the workforce is the increasing presence of women in different occupations. As a

result, society has an increasing number of dual-career families. There seems

to be an enhanced standard of living along with some role stress. Working women
